Terms & conditions

Please read these terms carefully. By using Sthir, creating an account, or booking a session, you agree to them.

What we offer

Sthir provides philosophy-based counselling and guidance—support for motivation, direction, and personal or professional growth through conversation (audio or Google Meet, as offered on the site).

We are not a medical, psychiatric, or emergency service. We do not diagnose illness, prescribe treatment, or replace care from doctors, therapists, or hospitals. If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

Eligibility and your responsibilities

You confirm that the information you give us when you book or contact us is accurate. You agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully. If you ever use an optional account, you are responsible for keeping your login details safe.

Bookings and sessions

When you complete a booking and payment, we will treat that as a confirmed session according to the options you chose (for example student or professional rate, and audio or Google Meet). Practical details—such as timing or links—may be shared by us after payment, where applicable.

If you need to change or cancel a session, contact us as soon as possible using the contact details below. We will do our best to help within our capacity; specific rules may also follow our refund policy.

Fees and payment

Prices are shown before you pay and may be updated in the system from time to time. Payment is taken through our payment partner; by paying you accept their process as well as ours. Successful payment is recorded against your booking in our system.

Intellectual property

Content on this website (text, branding, design, and materials) belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission, except as allowed by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sthir and its team are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or reliance on anything discussed in sessions. We are not responsible for any medical situation, mental health emergency, or outcome of choices you make after guidance.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited (for example certain types of fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence, where the law does not allow exclusion).

Suspension and changes

We may suspend or change parts of the service for maintenance, security, or business reasons. We may update these terms; the current version will stay on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing approach

These terms are meant to work fairly for both sides. If something is unclear, contact us—we prefer to resolve questions in good faith.
